Why Sourcing Matters
Sea moss is a type of algae that grows attached to rocks in coastal ocean waters. Like a sponge, it takes in what is in the water around it. That is part of what makes it such a mineral-rich food, and it is also why the place it grows matters so much.
Sea moss that grows in clean, open water is a very different product from sea moss pulled from crowded harbors or grown in tanks. When you know where your sea moss comes from, you know a lot about what is in your jar.
How We Make Our Sea Moss Gel
1. Wild-harvested in the Caribbean
Our sea moss is wild-harvested in the Caribbean. It is pulled from the ocean where it grows naturally, never grown in pools or tanks.
2. Sun-dried and bagged
After harvest, the sea moss is sun-dried and bagged, then makes its way to our kitchen in Pensacola, Florida.
3. Cleaned and blended in small batches
In our FDA-registered kitchen in Pensacola, we clean the sea moss and blend it with real whole fruit in small batches. Each batch is prepared, blended, and jarred by hand. No juice concentrates, no "natural flavoring," and no preservatives.
4. Jarred fresh

What to Look For When You Buy Sea Moss Gel
